Divine Self Counselling was established in 2017 with the goal of creating a business that could help a wide demographic through the use of humanistic therapy, person-centered therapy, and mindfulness counselling.
The purpose of Divine Self Counselling is to assist individuals who may feel lost or uncertain about how to begin their counselling journey, providing access to an experienced therapeutic counsellor. This professional has supported a diverse range of clients, including those dealing with dementia and special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The practice emphasizes warmth and empathy, ensuring a safe environment for all clients.

My name is Tracey Emerton. I created Divine Self Counselling to provide a safe space where individuals can freely express their feelings and challenges.
*Are you a parent constantly advocating for your child, possibly with Special Educational Needs (SEND), while neglecting your own self-care?
*Are you a child aged 11 or older who seeks support in understanding yourself and navigating the world around you?
*Are you a carer for someone living with SEND or a long-term illness, such as Dementia?
*Are you on a spiritual journey and in need of guidance in self-discovery?
I have extensive experience in humanistic therapy, working with children, young people, and adults with Special Educational Needs. My specific focus includes mindfulness counselling and working with individuals on the Autism spectrum and those with ADHD (Attention Deficit, Hyperactivity Disorder). I have also previously worked for Little Miracles Charity, working with children and families with additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting illnesses. Additionally, I support individuals facing long-term illnesses and their carers, especially in relation to Dementia. If any of these situations resonate with you, or if you require other forms of support, please feel free to reach out.
